Whit’s End

If you are unfamiliar with Focus on the Family’s kids audio drama, Adventures in Odyssey, then you should check it out.  My whole family loves it. (Along with many of my friend’s children)  They have a funny and exciting approach that drags the kids into a story line and teaches them a moral lesson.  The stories are set in a small idealistic town called Odyssey.  Whit’s End is an ice cream shop owned by a wise grandfather-like character named Whit.  On the Focus on the Family campus in Colorado Springs, CO, they have a whole floor dedicated to an Odyssey-like kids play area.  The place includes an ice cream emporium, a 3 story slide, and much more.  We had fun visiting it during our trip.  Check it out at: WhitEnd.com
